Q: Do the two Energy Transfer Caps wind up in series or parallel?
A: In series.

Q: Do the damping networks wind up in series or parallel?
A: Also series.

Q: Waitaminnit.... Why isn't C3 [black] just (C4 + C5) [purple] if they're in series?
A: Capacitors in series combine like resistors in parallel.

Q: Why?
A: Their impedance is inverse to their capacitance. Remember Xc = 1/{2[pi]fC}

Q: What if they're put in parallel?
A: Their capacity simply adds together.
